Two Over One Game Forcing
Thursday evenings, 7:00 – 9:00pm
Duration: 4 weeks
Class begins June 5th and ends June 26th
Cost: $50 per person
This is a repeat of the February 2007 course. If you are looking to make the leap from Standard American Yellow Card to the system played by many advanced and expert players, this is your course. Topics include the following:
- SAYC vs. 2/1 – system pros and cons
- Opener’s rebids and responder’s follow-up bids
- The principle of fast arrival and its application
- Using 1NT forcing
- Slam tries
- Conventions that fit well within 2/1, including Bergen raises, Jacoby 2NT, splinters, and 4th suit forcing
